I got back to the site that I found the 1776 half reale at last week. I had to sit out the rain and only had an hour to detect. All these buttons were deep and found in a 20'x20' area. The tombacs bounced from iron to foil. The plated button with the design read like a nickel once on the surface.

FYI this site has been pounded with detectors that are double the price of the T2.

It all looks really good! How did they make the tombacs? As for your beautiful Indian Head cent, I'll send you a pre-stamped self-addressed envelope if you'd be so kind as to send it MY way, lol. Seriously, to me this Indian cent looks more beautiful than larger coins made of precious metals. HH Andi

I recently purchased a t2 about 3 mos ago and I love it. I've found over 30 buttons many indian heads a large cent and numerous other coins in just a few months. The thing is easy to use and many of the items were down 8-10".

Andrew.

Nice finds, but you need to keep quiet about the T2. It takes some learning, but it is one of the first detectors that I grab. Fast swing rate, lightweight and deep. My only problem with it is that it is too sensitive.
