I could be wrong, but the scabbard looks more like a Japanese Type 30 (1897-1945)

It's a Japanese bayonet from WW2 some had the hook, some not, some had a ball on the end of the scabbard and some didn't. Length can also vary depending on maker.

Japanese Type 30 bayonet, It would have been most likely used on the Arisaka Type 30 rifle, (but also could have been on a Type 38 or 99) having the hooked guard makes it an earlier version of the bayonet. They were made between 1897 and 1945. It's a shame the scabbard didn't protect the blade a bit better, they were all arsenal stamped which would help date it.
