I was glad to get out for a couple of hunts Sunday and Monday with Dave and Brad. Had a good time finding some pretty cool relics, artifacts, jewelry, and coins. My favorite find was this Gold Plated Scabbard Hanger Band which was what attached a sword scabbard to a belt. It is part of a Patriarch’s Militant (Uniformed Ranks of the IOOF) Ceremonial Sword Scabbard made between 1893 and 1923.

Click on this link to see the sword and read about it.
Patriarchs Militant IOOF Sword Identification

Also found a Sterling ring with a Turquoise stone, 7 Wheaties, a 1951 Italian 10 Lire coin, a pocket spill of a Wheat and 2 Mercs (28 & 45-d), a Tax Token, a heavy Brass number tag, a sample container of some type of salve (I guess), and a very cool WW2 Air Force Distinguished Service Medal (which I lost going to the truck) :censored: but was able to find exact pictures of, with a similar, but less red patina, on the internet.

Thanks for lookin!
