Some things I picked up this weekend. Paid less than $30 for all.
I really like the Rowland Marcellus plate.

You really made a great purchase, shouldn't have any trouble flipping this quality looking goods.:icon_thumright:

I forgot to mention the sword is a Pettibone, and the magazines are original, not repros.

Outstanding buys for less then $30. Sword and scabbard I would have picked first.

Any other marking on the sword? Like ( US ) ?

Is that a model 1902 U.S. Army officers sword? It sure looks like one. Good stuff all around. For $30 you got a steal! Looks like one of my deals! :icon_thumright:

ps- I like the Staffordshire plate too. The subject matter makes it that much better.

No Us markings. I figured it was a model 1902 officer's sword, as Diggumup pointed out.
But it might be an academy sword. I've haven't had time to research it.

Research the violin well before you sell it. Especially the bows, they can be pricier than the violin itself. An old girlfriend of mine picked up a violin at a sale and the violin was pretty worthless, but she sold the bow for $800. Those old lodge pins might be worth more than you think also. Great buys all around!
