Tried a new Baltimore City park today.
Spoke with numerous people in the park and from one conversation learned of a cache of rings that I'll have to go back and check out. One of the people I spoke with is a 30-year resident of the neighborhood and came across two rings while raking in one of the beds. She pointed out the spot to me.
This park is surrounded by homes that were built post-Civil War, so there should be some old items buried here but I don't think I found any today.
The one object found that must be old is the brass "S" but there is no writing on the reverse so I'm at a loss as to what it is. Did get 9 wheats today: 1920 - 1955. SWHEAT! Lots of clad, a 24 hour recovery token, and a token that may be from a speak-easy slot machine. Thanks for checking out my finds and let me know if you have any ideas about the "S".
