Normally I'm not too interested in Holiday stuff at the thrift, but I wandered over and started poking around. Right away I spotted the garish, bright fluorescent colors of vintage plastic Halloween masks. I picked one up out nostalgia, then put it back. As I wandered down the aisle I spotted a few more... then a stack of them! I rooted around and found a few more stacks and picked up any single stragglers. They are unused Zest premiums from the 60's-70's! I grabbed all that I could find which was assorted stacks adding up to 30 pieces. I spent about $9 on all of them. Here's a sampling.

Those go back to when I was a kid out trick or treating. They look like new old stock? I remember we'd pull them away from each others face and let go so the mask would smack ya in the face. That no doubt came from watching too much of The Three Stooges.

Sweet. I'd probably lot those into groups of 3 or 4. I think you could get $10-15/mask.

Yes! When I looked them up I saw that they could potentially go for up to $30 each, but I figured that would trickle in slowly if at all. I made up groupings of 3,4 and 8 starting around $25, with BIN at roughly $10-12 each. I listed the ones with issues BIN a reduced cost and already made back what I spent plus. Have a bid on one set so we'll see how they do.

Fantastic find...you "stole them"...:occasion14:
