I swung by a goodwill on the other side of town and scored this awesome Seth Thomas 8 day Medbury chiming clock in excellent running condition and complete even with the original key. $9.99!!! I also picked up this Crystal car by Magic Cristal of West Germany. I am not sure what kind of car it is but it's a very nice piece with the original sticker. $3.99. I also picked up this really nice serving set in a mid century design with opaline handles. They are marked Germany. $4. I got some really great buys today.

I told her about one that got away back when we first started going to auctions, and she told me how much she had always wanted one. Spent years trying to find one at auction or garage sale. Only one I ever saw after that was in really poor shape! And just couldn't afford to buy one elsewhere. Fantastic find!!

My parents had a couple of those old mantle clocks when I was little. I've been hoping to stumble upon one some day myself.
