2 cups flour
2 teasp baking powder
1 teasp salt
2 Tblespoon light brown sugar
3/4 Cup buttermilk
1/2 Cup melted butter
3/4 Cup mashed sweet potato
1/2 teasp baking soda
Preheat oven 400
Sift together flour ,baking powder and salt. Combine Brown sugar ,melted butter and sweet potatoes in a bowl. Beat til fluffy. Stir soda into the buttermilk. Combine all ingredients ....stir just til moist...no more.
Turn out on floured board and knead slightly. Roll out and cut into biscuits . Bake on ungreased cookie sheeet for about 20 minutes .
