I don't usualy post my common finds and been in a silver slump, but decide to go out with the 12x15 on the Etrac.. I was digging iffy signals in the park and had a pocketful of scrap when I got a jumpy one at the base of a large tree.. Couldn't locate it with my profinder, so I grabbed the pistolprobe and off to the side I got a signal.. Dug a few inches and then At 9" between two large roots the minelab profinder sounded off.. Pryed them apart to find this..I believe it's from 1830-1840.. Most of the gilding is still there..
