SWEET 5-CENTER FOR PACO

HELLO T-NET CREW,
THE BONE DRY CREW GOT OUT TO ONE OF OUR MANY FARMS. WE WERE ABLE TO PULL MANY LARGE COPPAS AND A LARGE QUANTITY OF BUTTONS FROM THIS ONE AREA. WE ASKED PERMISSION TO AN ADOINING FARMFIELD NEXT TO IT. FROM OUR RESEARCH AND OUR ABILITY TO READ THE LAND SCAPE WE FOUND 2 MORE HOMESTEDS ONLY 200 YARDS FROM EACH OTHER. 30 SECONDS INTO THE FIRST HOMESTEAD I WAS ABLE TO UNEARTH THIS GREAT-LOOKING SHIELD NICKEL.
THE DAY WAS COMING TO A CLOSE AND WE DID NOT HAVE MUCH TIME TO HIT THE LOCATIONS. BUT BY THIS 1867 5- CENTER I GOT, IT SHOULD TURN OUT TO BE A RATHER PRODUCTIVE SITE......

That's a very good find, Paco! By far, there are fewer shielded nickels being posted than coppas.

Nice Shield Nickel! I found an 1869 last week. Since they are not dropped as often as other coins, there's probably a lot more coins in there! I found 46 pre 1900s coins at a site before the first shield nickel.
