got out with Todd Hiltz we found 3 of 4 sites.all were pretty hammered but one site gave up a few keepers. we put some miles on the ole treads hiking but it's always worth it when ya come out with a sweet 1785 Connecticut copper. Also dug few buttons,a mangled shoe buckle frame,a couple key hole escutcheon plates .a cool designed tombac button and a colonial clasp knife and a musket ball.
last weeks hunt photos are in here as well which included a 1808 classic head LC and a silver pocket spill. My Girl Friend Lynne dug her 1st Fugio (in pics)

awesome finds! congrats

Wow...great pics! I'm shocked at the fabulous condition of the CT copper. You guys killed it. Congrats!

Phew! Wow, that's some heavy metal dude! Great coin finds - both of which I have not found. The Conn. copper is in exquisite shape! The classic head is also in great shape considering they were made of crappy copper in that series.

I hope you wrote a prenup before you took your GF digging so it's spelled out who keeps the FUGIO!!! Just joking. Excellent digs man!

Awesome finds guys ! :occasion14:

Freakin nice. Id be happy to find all that good job!!!!

That copper is one of the best I've seen Dave. Looks like you guys had a blast, and got a nice little workout in the process.

Well worth the effort. Great finds, can't find those here. I do enjoy seeing the success of others in what is available in their area. Thank you for sharing.

Great old coinage... Congratulations and thank you for sharing the story and pics!!!
Id like to get up north and come up with a state copper or KG... good luck for the future

Damn dude!!!! That thing is gorgeous!!!! A killer copper like that is so hard to find. Congrats on that beauty man

Very, VERY cool Finds!
Looking forward to more of your finds, in the future!
I'm envious!
