Suspect no more! NONE of them are meteorites. Sorry. :skullflag:

With respect Terry, you really can't tell that from these photos. Compare the long, thin example with known meteorites. The regmaglypts are suggestive.

Hi all just wondering where the pallasite mention came from, the yellow bits are grit/sand highlighted by camera, I've been informed that I should get results very soon and I also haven't got a clue if they are meteorites but I appreciate the no-no from Solomon,I feel accepted on this site now, ha ha, the thing I notice about the irons is the fact that they haven't been gas cut or saw cut which only leave shrapnel effect so there is the possibility of explosives, wait and see hey

I took a walk along my local beach last week and picked up a wet rusty looking blob about qtr pound in weight and half of it was attracted to magnet gave it wack and there was a lot of black wet muck inside but I took the magnetic piece home just for a look and thought it looked like bit of slag but under microscope there was tiny orange glassy tears on part of the outside and iron looked ragged and sparkly, had it cut and the iron cut easy but some black material posed a prob to cut so cut another groove and chisel tapped a piece out, well there is a matt black crystal type structure but when freshly chipped it shows dark green crystal underneath and dark green crystals in holes where I cut and also a gold coloured metal mix within the iron and cream/green bone looking stone, but best bit is the black material that wouldn't cut all way through now shows without being etched a widmanstatten pattern when caught in bright light, lets hope I'm lucky with this also, maybe a mesosiderite
