Had a bit of luck today. A old over grown field loaded with alders was recently cleared for development. My time will be short there but I can get another trip in I think before it’s all filled in. For the couple hours I had so far there was plenty of signals to dig. The best of the bunch was a complete cap gun, a gilt dandy button, a gold filled ring and a 1914 US barber quarter. I’m hoping to pull something real old and nice out of there next time. After getting two dandy buttons, a George ii copper half penny that I barely made out and muskets balls it’s a real good sign. Thanks for looking and also that big gold filled ring almost gave me a heart attack when it first popped out! [emoji2][emoji106]

Awesome finds. Get back out there asap. Quarter is great. Then dandy button is super cool. Love finding dandies

Hey,that was a big score in finding a Barber quarter, and the rest was cool also.

That’s a great hunt

Those are some really good finds! :icon_thumleft: Love the Barber and the ring ain't so bad either!

Congratualtions on the nice hunt! :occasion14:

What great finds, especially that quarter!:icon_thumleft: hopefully you are able to save some more of that sites's history before it is developed.

That's some good hunting! That ring sure looked legit in the dirt, woulda gave me a heart attack too!

Congrats on the cool Barber. I've found 5 or 6 "Canadian" Barber quarters over the years, always love finding those.
