??? Hmm...a whites machine whites say they can't repair? All I wanted was the boots replaced and a new set of headphones. The guy I talked to said they didn't have any parts left for this model....ie. new boots to make it waterproof again. He said my only option was to have it changed over to the new PI case; a new coil; and headphones. Basically; a whole new detector. Cost: a whopping 269 bucks. OUCH. I need a water machine; and with the initial cost of 235 I paid for the machine; I was almost to a new one anyway. Needless to say; I will buy a Tesoro for sure next time. Be careful on buying older units; unless it's a Tesoro!

I WOULD DO IT!! I HAD THIS DETECTOR AND LOVED IT!! IT GAVE ME MY START WATER HUNTING....IT PAID ME BACK A HUNDRED TIMES OVER!!! THEM PUTTING IT IN THE NEW PI BOX WOULD BE GREAT!! AND THE UP GRADE OF A NEW COIL??? ALSO SWEET!!!

:crybaby2: I did it.....but I didn't like it. That was my thought too.....it will pay for itself (soon I hope). I know I will love it when I get it back in my hands. Hopefully they send my old parts back with it.
