It was a rough night for my Jack Russel, he just hates thunder and lightning and kept me up most of the night. After letting him out around 5AM I could not get back to sleep and decided to go out and search for a new spot. Fortunately here in Charleston you do not have to go far to find a site. I took my new Ebike out at sunrise and stopped back at the site were I found the last items, I was picking up some old china, one small bottle and noticed the green color in the Bulldozer tracks and could not believe what I was seeing. At the time I could only recognize the shape as well as the hole. Unfortunately if was run over and in four pieces and only a partial. I searched for around another hour and could not find the remainder of it. I headed home and put it under magnification and could read CHARLES (Charleston), POR (porter), 1863.

Awesome find. Charleston is such an historical place. Congratulations!

Congrats on a rare piece of history, sad the rest of it was lost to the bulldozer!
