Sure of what one thing is but not the other...

I found this evening a few things, including what I thought I'd never find, a cylinder to a .22, and then what I believe to be an old locking mechanism of some sort. The hook, although rusted and not cleaned yet, looks as though it might move once I clear the junk out... anybody got an idea?

By the way, new to the post, been lurking and enjoying all of your posts for awhile now...

That "22 cylinder" looks a little thin. I would lean toward a meat grinder plate on that one.

The ".22 cylinder" could be from a blank starting pistol? Is really hard to tell from picture. Monty

I have one of those pellet revolvers and the litttle disc is plastic. Maybe they made them of metal earlier than about 1970? And I have seen things on meat grinders that look similar too! So I am not real sure what it is. Monty
