not knowing the size, does look tarantula -ish-- and thanks, Big Cy, nice site to post--

yes its is a tarantula spider....close to 8" across.......sorry for not having much to judge scale......but its one of those things.....act quick before its gone for ever.....

Friendly or not, I'll keep the Black Widows here in NC and you can have the tarantulas. An 8" spider calls for my S&W .38! :laughing7:

saw 2 very similar to this here in lower Ala. Although, the ones I saw looked more black. My bet is on Wolf spider

............its a tarantula...they come in all colors
