Today I was going "Here Buffalo, Buffalo!" while hunting today after I had found the 1903 V-Nickel and two silver war nickels, was hoping for a nickel tri-fecta. But little did I know it was already in my pouch. Much to my surprise after I got home and checked my finds. What I believed was a early Jefferson nickel when bagging, turned out to be a 1935 Buffalo! The war nickels were a first for me with the Safari and I got two the same day, they Tided at like 17. Any day with one or more silvers is a good day to me but today was extra great due to all the nickels and the surprise tri-fecta! Hope you all have happy hunts and thanks for looking at my meager finds! CARM
P.S. Too the right --> of the 1943-P war nickels see the weird button made of lead with iron outside rim and backing. It does appear to have some symbols on it but cannot make out what they are meant to be.
