Super happy with my first park!!!

I got a Garrett's ace 350 and in 3 hours of screws, bottle caps, pull tabs, a dime, few pennies and washers I pulled these two beauty's!! Both 14k! Had on jewelry mode but kept getting curious what the lower items were so kept jumping to zero mode which goes off for all items. But know straight jewelry mode as it finds coins and jewelry. Happy huntings all!!!

Thanks Gary! Great way to start out but in a way kinda bad cuz ima want to top it haha oh well fun none the less. Glad I turned in my bounty hunter fortune hunter for this ace 350 ... Much easier to find objects.

Clean too! I found the solid gold band by the swings in the soft sand and the women's ring in the volleyball field also soft sand.

its less common to find gold in the parks than in a swimming area So ya your off to a great start.
I liked all my firsts IH,wheat.Large cent,2 cent piece,silver dime and so on....if you can get into some old cellar holes around where you live ...you can coin hunt and relic hunt together that is where the older coins are that i have found over the years are.
I realy enjoy finding old buttons,Dandy and Tombac...Military buttons,ax heads and such.
So i think you will top your gold finds every month in different categories.

It's kinda hard around here because I live in coachella valley california and everything has been built over and no cellars around here. Did some research and very few places to hunt for older stuff.

This valley I live in wasn't inhabited until around 1915 no war no nothing but a two story's on kind close by about a ship sinking caring tons of silver gold pearls and all kinds of stuff by the saltpn sea In the mountains close by there some place and a robber sounding just like the story of zorro the five Murrietas hid some gold in the borrego mountains haha but I'd have to do way more research of land and seas weather and trails to find all that haha but you never know ill save my vacation times when I'm ready for that trip ha would be nice though! Tell then a penny a day is alright for me

I'm 27 and my entire life in this desert I've never seen not one person with a detector I read online one guy vacationed out here and tried to detect a park in palm spring which is a high traffic park but he got booted and no finds so yeah an entire valley just for me ha! Would like to join a club ... Maybe I should just start one heck!

You have a good area to detect in I was born and raised in Julian. If I was you I would head over to Glamis and detect down around the store where everyone rides.Also there have to be a ton of campsites around Glamis I,m sure you'll get a ton of trash but probably a lot of lost items.

Wow ha nice yeah I was thinking glamis as well same thought I wanted to hit white water as well but when I went there are signs all over by the bridge were everyone use to go saying no trespassing all new signs and all over that area and would have went for it anyways but there was a sheriff or highway patrol close by and would have totally seen me ha but thanks ill do that as well!
