Today i enjoyed the warm temps and continued the hunt in my favorite area. Found, 1782 1 reale, 1737 halfpence Rex Hibernia, 1796 liberty cap large cent. An unknown large copper. Musket ball, shriners belt buckel a bunch of old buttons. Giant brass hinge and a lead tag stamped USA ..like something worn around the neck.. old lantern part. It was probably my best day yet.

excellent finds! old silver and copper coins make any trip!

You'll want to break out the whiteout and remove that "e" from "reale" though, it's spelled "real"

Spelling note taken. Lol seen it spelled reale somewhere so it stuck with me. Either way me loves me silverrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

That unknown looks like a king George.

If you find a 1/2 or 1 real it's "real" (singular). If you find a 2 reales or larger denomination, it's "reales" (plural). I had to look that up when I found a 1784 half real in January.

That's a great site you're on there! What a fantastic day of finds. Def a George of some sort. Is the U in Georgius a V or an actual U? I know that question sounds a bit strange :-)

Looks to be a kg 3 farthing

It's a king george halfpenny. Notice in the group shot its the same size as the other coppers.

Thanks Greylock. My tired eyes have failed me :-) long day trying to detect in a stinky mud flat. Only place I can stick a digger into right now

I'm jealous. I can't wait to get out. Hopefully soon we will all be getting into some soft soil.

All I found today was super stinky mud :-) and some weird old tap looking thing. But it was nice to get out

What part of the Country or the World did you dig those killer items?

Don't worry "I have Detector but wont travel" "FAR"
