I got out tonight to slog around in the rain and dirt. Went down to the park and first sniffed out a Rosie. A little later I dug a thing, a something. It was getting dark and the something was wet and dirty, I couldn’t tell what it was. Once I got home I could see it was a super crusty 1941 Walker. Crustiest Walker I’ve dug…..

The crusty walkers I’ve dug in the past I’ve just kept crusty. This one is so crusty I’m considering soaking it in vinegar.

Very Nice!!! Congrats!!!

Picture the Walker fully encrusted. That is what all silver looks like that I dig out of salt water.
Your Walker may be in better shape

Looks like the coins I find at the beach. Congrats on the big silver and good luck on your next outing.

Nice going What was the year on the crusted coin ?

The walking liberty half has to be one of the best looking coins the US ever minted. I hope it cleans up for you.
