Before the CTH hunt, I'd called the local Garrett dealer (coin shop, really) and asked about one of the new "environmental cover" things to take with me (for the box, not the coil). Well, they would have to order some. Long story short, they didn't come in before the hunt, no biggie. Ok, it didn't rain while we were hunting, but it might have!

I called today just to see if the things had come in yet. The guy who answered said he'd check on it and call me back.

I just got off the phone with him and he'd said "Give me your address, they're gonna ship one to ya." (I haven't even paid for it yet!) No charge. HUNH?

I guess Garrett is doin' it because they hadn't filled the order on time, or something. Who knows? (who cares! )

Many times Garrett provides them at no charge.Great dealer/customer service.I'll miss them now that I've sold my 2500,but wait,I've still got the Ace 250! Glad you're getting it Ros,enjoy,not that I want it to rain a bunch.
