Didn’t think it would happen but I broke my carbon fiber handle. Luckily I bought it from Sunspot with a lifetime warranty. Handle was covered and shipped today, just in time for my trip to Mexico! Thanks Peter!

Don't get any better than a great warranty!
When Sunspot was owned by Chuck he had a roll of electrical tape shipped with the handle. When wrapped around the lower shaft and inserted it helped with the wear in that area.

I bought it from Chuck years ago and I used to use the tape, just got to be a pain in the butt to remove every time I traveled with it. I put this scoop though some rough times this year, getting into a rocky/clay bottomed r

iver. Sounded like a fun going off when it snapped! Worth it, though. 28 gold out of that area this season. These two right before it gave up the ghost.
