Sunray probe

I can't belive that no one has ever not used a sunray probe on a eagle here on tresure net.
Thanks any way.
I orderd it yesterday.

I don't know why anybody would put a probe on a Eagle. I have a Eagle II and it is so easy to pinpoint. With the trigger pulled just listen for the loudest sound and watch the depth gauge when it gets to the shadowest depth and the loudest tone the target is right in the center of the coil.

I put a SunRay probe on my MXT and it is the best thing that I have ever owned in the metal detecting field. Those small objects that defy finding in your hole instantly are found with the Sunray. Another big plus is you never leave it behind like I have done several times with the hand held models. The Sunray is so much more accurate than the hand helds also like when you bump a handheld and get a beep... It just doesn't happen with the Sunray. Crank up the sensitivity and the Sunray has a 3-5" range if needed on coins. I don't know how I ever did without it. It is a real time saver! Get one and you will say the same thing. By the way the MXT pinpoints as well as any detector I have ever used but the Sunray adds a whole new dimension to quick finds and since it uses your detectors circuitry it is very versatile.

Everything Gen. Breckinridge said! This is the only why to go as far as pinpointers. Unbeatable in finding those very small items in the hole. It is a 1" searchcoil, running the same program as your detector. So, if there is an unwanted object in the hole along with the desired object, it will cancel the bad and ring out on the good. Pull the pinpoint trigger on your detector and you're in all metal mode. No batteries to buy. Very little additional weight. It's just the next best thing since sliced bread. :icon_sunny:

I have a sunray on my xlt, which would be the eagle I guess, yeah it is the best thing since sliced white bread, especially when digging through sticky clay, huge time saver.

I've got a sunray on my DFX, when I use it, the target is at it's loudest when it is directly under the tip, so is it worth it,
in a nutshell, oh yeah, this has got to be the best pinpointer there is. if I wa1nted a separate pinpointer I would use the Garrett pro pointer
