Hello,
One week ago I have asked Spain Ministry of Tourism about using MD on the beaches there. They have responded me that it's fully prohibited.
Could you please comment it?

humm you find stuff but the offical tourist word is no -- seems they got a double standard --if your there and a local --ok --- however if your from abroad --no ---humm --- ever find any old spanish silver coinage?

spain dislikes treasure hunters from overseas * getting any of "their" stuff -- mine mine mine like a spoiled 3 year old brat.

so all treasure in spain belongs to the locals only "offically" --- no tourist gringos need try--- oh and all treasure in "spain's" territorial waters belongs "only" to them as well --as well as any treasure ever upon any of their vessels at anytime , no matter where they might lie at in the world , no matter what enslaved "local" people or slaves they forced to mine the dilverand gold and jewels and give it over to them. ----ok I got it now -- if its treasure spain says its mine mine mine --- seen a lot of 3 year olds who are like that.

the spanish have no more "right" to these treasures than the nazi's do to the looted art works of europe * that they stole during WW2 -- its just that spain did it so long ago and slavery was the norm back then and yhat the evil that they did was accepted in those days . ---

today however we know it for the evil it was , and to allow spain to profiet today in the here and now from her past misdeeds -- teaches no "lesson"-- the enslaved country and its peoples should have whatever "cut" that is allowed minus the salvors finders fee. - its those peoples "heritage" just as much or even more so than spain's (since they died for it)

"as I would not wish to be a slave -- I would not therefore own one -- since to grant one man the right to own others--- means that some person could be granted the "right" to own me . "

there are places where the local police will say no to detecting on there beaches but i have had no problem in my area
