Greetings fellow forumers from the equator state of Singapore.

Just a short introduction, I'm using a Garrett Ace 250 for dry sand beach combing close to half a year now. I take the opportunity MDing to get my exercise which I seriously need due to health reasons and MD a few times a week.

Most commonly found items are pull tabs, candle holders, wrappers, keys and recently 2 mobile phones. Nothing too old and coins are commonly found as most of our beaches around this island are reclaimed land. Though there are other places to MD on the island, prior permission needs to be sought as the land either falls under state or private property.

I am sure there are other MDist based in Singapore and hope to meet up with them or any others in this forum passing through Singapore.

Hi sunny.im Nathan from johor. Are you doing MD in Singapore only? Did u try seloso beach in sentosa? My friend his Mr. pua also doing MD in sentosa. Always I go for beach hunthing in Deaaru and Tanjung Balau. We have more members in johor,kedah,seremban,Pinang and more. Find us in malaysia metal detector.

Hello...there used to be a American based in Singapore who hunted sentosa beach, he did quite well. I was in Singapore two years ago, and I might be going back next year. Sentosa beach is a great area.

As far as I know there are about 60 people detecting in Sentosa.

Yes, I read his post as well but since then, he created about 60 others to search the beaches at Sentosa.

Welcome to the community, I do know of a few detectorists in Singapore as well good to hear that your finds have paid off for the 250. I am making a guess it has to be Sentosa that your sweeping.
