New Lenox, Il
Detector(s) used
Explorer II with 10x12 SEF
Hit some woods in Palos on Sunday with a few guys from the Will County club.
Had the 6" coil on the Xterra 70 to help me manuever in the jungle and pulled a few keepers.
The token is my first and I was amazed that I dug it at over 9" with a 6" coil.
23 Merc and a 1913 Buffalo were about 4" apart and 4" deep.
Skeeters weren't bad at all and was using Listerine in a squirt bottle to spray ourselves down...I guess they don't like that minty fresh BO

Thanks for looking

GREAT FINDS THERE, TODD

wtg on those keepers

Sweet token Todd!
Coins aren't too shabby either. Sounds like the X is a good rig.

Where'd you learn the Listerine trick?

The listerine trick was brought up at one of our club meetings. It seemed to work good but I don't think it will work for ticks as one of the guys called me from home saying he took on a passenger. I don't know if he sprayed his legs, boots and shirt like I did along with the exposed areas.
