So far the Ace 250 has been a good machine for me and I'm really starting to enjoy metal detecting.
I hit some local woods around Philadelphia and picked up a nice relic as well as my first coin from the 1800's.

The first pic is from an old bicycle lanturn that was made by a local company called Rose Mfg. here in Philadelphia.
They made this type of lanturn for bicycles called "The Neverout" between 1897 and 1921.

The second is my first find from the 1800's! Its an Indian Head Penny that dates 1899. It was very exciting unearthing this old coin and I cant wait to find some more!

I tried "the peroxide method" on it and it cleaned up very well so thanks TN for helping me out with all that.
I posted a before and after pic.
Thanks
