Sunday’s Finds xx

A chilly foggy start to the day, but as ever we were undeterred 😆 xx I had a cracking morning in the other field, so after a morning digging muskets, himself saw sense and joined me in my field! 😆 xx

He went to the area I found the fibula yesterday and found this first item… seems to have a head on it … part of a ring maybe 🤔I found this next little item, and this beautiful clog strap, a loop, decorative bit, modern lock, lead hem weight, lead pointer, big buckle, more pipe stems, muskets, buttons, he found a couple of crusty pre dec, then my bashed silver, can’t work out who it is, but so chuffed to save it. (I think its a James 2nd 1687 ) 🤔

What an awesome weekend, my new job is super busy and being able to wander about for hours by myself is truly special xx

Well dug on the watch winder, and the first item.
I would hazard a guess as it being a Seal ring.

More Good stuff! Congratulations! Great pictures, too. I just noticed yesterday that the daffodils in my front yard are popping up. Look forward to the blooms. Also saw some grape hyacinths pushing through the dirt.
