The items that I was able to find yesterday with mbcuce. My favorite is the naval button. I found another similar one last weeken that the eagle was facing the opposite direction and the button had backmark. This one hads no backmarks and I can’t seem to find an exact example of it. They were found 15 miles apart. Anyway it was a great afternoon.

Nice work awdw, your soil is way kinder a bit inland than here on the coast. I've dug that variety navy, but wouldn't hold a candle to the condition on that one. Definitely looks like you and your buddy landed on a nice early 1800s homesite. Hit it hard and report back

Nice mixed bag of finds cool button looks like one of those dig everything sites Well done

VMI that one was found just a mile or two from the ocean. Last weeks was found a couple hundred yards from the salt marsh. But both on nice sandy pine hills.

Nice finds! Congrats! :icon_thumleft: I like the button and the little fancy drawer pull.

That's a nice hunt, really cool relics, the button is great, I also think the drawer pull is awesome, congratulations on all the saves

Love that naval button. It must be a very early one with 15 stars, possibly mid 1790s.

I cAnt find an example other than one posted here years ago.

Killer button and very nice relics, congrats! :occasion14:

Nice saves and a really sweet button :icon_thumleft:

NICE Naval type button looks very old and I even see an Indian Head cent with the last digit a "7" looks like an 1887 or 1897 -- but of course IF it is an 1877 -- You just found the KEY coin of the Indian cents -- thanks for your posting & KEEP hunting that site -- even looks like a piece of old "clay" pipe stem next to the pottery shard.

No it is an 1887. What makes the 77 special? I have an 1872 that I found. Seems as though there was some significance to that year as well.
