Sunday's Digs in the Low Country
While down in the Low Country over the weekend, I got to meet a # of great people at the GNRS. Didn't fare too well in the hunt but afterwards a couple of us went to a couple other sites on Sunday while waiting for Monday's flight home.
We were able to bring to light some CW, Colonial, and Revolutionary relics to light and save them. Boy, it's gonna take a long time to get that sugar sand out of everything. LOL
Here's a few pics of the items..maybe more than a few, lol.
Colonial ladies sash buckle
A few flat buttons
A pistol or rifle nose cap and a ramrod end
a .58 cal Gardner (Confederate)
A pack hook
A nice French style Colonial buckle
Another fancy Colonial buckle (well part of it)
Piece of metal gun enlay
