My friends and I got back down to our honey hole this past Sunday and WOW we had fun.
We didn't realize it was dove season until they started to appear before our eyes.
We found three dovetails between us. It was absolutely amazing and a day to remember.
I got it started by finding a big portion of a fine dovetail. Steps away my friend's son
picked up the big knocker of a broken Adena.

We continued to hunt and not too long later my friend let out a big whoop.
I walked over to see what he had.

WOW!!!!!!

We were over the moon. We walked many more hours and found many artifacts in
between but we were not done with the doves. I found this broken one in the fading light
of the day!

Hello there,

How sweet it is, way it sounds it was a experience!
When you can sense something there your living
the good times. Man you cover some ground!

Thanks,
Bruce

Man, it looks like it hasn't even been rained on hard yet. It's a good thing they spaced those bean rows far apart.

You guys almost got your limit of doves. That is a good days hunt.

I would love to see some better pics of the complete dove. Congrats to you all!!!
Chuck
