I've been doing the perimeter of this park the last few times out and it has not disappointed me. I managed a 1944 merc and three more wheaties, 49-S, 56 and a no date. Also this bracelet that says West Germany on it and nothing else. Gotta rest up to hit the school I was finding the quarters at last night. This 44 merc was in a hole with a old style pulltab and a beer bottle screw cap. Dig those funky signals. Good luck.

Good work. I find that the outside perimeters of parks, or even attached woods have the most old finds.
Some parks were bigger in the past and parts of them have been allowed to grow over instead of being cared for.

Good luck the next time out, too.

Looks like that bracelet is silver to me... congrats.. ;D ;D

That park just keeps on coughing up silver coins Mike. Congrats on the merc........BTW, beauitful medal you found on Saturday.

Nice batch of finds buddy, congrats on all the goodies!
I think the bracelet, West German silver is a lot less pure then the standard 900 or 925 pure we normally find. Not sure of the percentage, I just remember reading that somewhere. Still a cool find anyway. Like it!

Smiles!
