Sunday finds in the woods,silver,strange coin

1934 merc,1917 merc,1901 barber dime(9 looks sorta like a 8?)and a 1961 middle eastern coin?Has half moon with star in center on it.Only place i ever saw that.Would love to know what the heck it is.I flipped it in photo so you can see both sides.(meant to flip them all but i was tired and forgot)Not sure what the heck that was doing in the woods in PA.Also got 3 destroyed wheat cents and some clad.And almost forgot a 1900 indian head penny.I am happy with the silver.Love barbers!

I think it's a Turkish coin. Where are you digging those coins--in a gravel pit??

Just got of the phone with junkhunter, he got those on a beat-up hard compact gravel-rocky trolley road that was in use from around 1900 to 1930. I knew there was more up there, I'm glad he found some. Nice going Nathan...............Rich

It's an Algerian coin with Arabic denomination (I think that is a '2' denomination-- looks like a '7'). Most likely 2 centimes 196X; maybe 1961.

Very nice silver haul!!!!!! I remember way back my dad and i hunting this old roadside bar with a gravel parking lot, and finding almost 50 silver dimes that looked like yours.

Lol, posted mine before I saw that... Mack, you're right, that is a "2" in Arabic, pretty sure the writing beneath the number is "ithnain", which also means "2".
