I headed back out to the park I hunted yesterday for a few hours. I was in silver mode, but unfortunately silver did not happen today. I began by digging only deep signals, and pulled up 5 wheats (1939, 1943, 1945, 1952, 1953) and a 1948 Jefferson nickel, and some clad. After awhile I began digging shallow clad, as the deeper signals lessened in frequency. I know there's more there, I was just getting annoyed with all the shallow clad signals, so I just got them out of the way so that next time I won't have to deal with it when I want the earlier coins. I ended up with 91 coins at $9.54 in clad, a couple cool copper buttons, and a lot of junk. Nothing photo worthy today, sorry guys. Hopefully you'll have something for me to see. Take it easy.....

ARGGHHH! Clad in the summer dirt, arghh! But if it's good with Coinstar, I suppose it's good! Gotta go dig a silver today to break the dry spell Joe, see ya back on the board later!

LowBatts,

Yeah. It sucks sometimes, but at least the majority of it was surface (0-2 inches) quarters. Just stick the screwdriver in and wa-la.

The only good thing Coinstars do for me is give up goodies in the reject tray others neglect. There's no way I'll ever pay 8% of my finds for cash. I just take all the clad to my bank in a bucket and they direct deposit 100% of it into my checking acount.

Good luck looking for silver! It does seem to be a very silvery day out, hopefully more for you than me.

Joe
