This park/beach has over 100 years of beer caps, pull tabs, nails, foil and more, including silver. Impossiable to hunt with a large coil, so everyone heads to the beach. I have found some keepers in the park with my 10x5 , but today with this new x-5, I scored a 34 Merc , a Rutherford B Hayes $1 coin, a silver hair barrett, and some clad. This coil is awesome......good depth, and great seperation, plus Dec. 24th in Michigan, 46 degrees and I am still digging!!!!.......Merry Christmas 102_8549.JPG102_8550.JPG Thanks for the deal on the coil and lower rod, Jason.

Good job. El Nino is the N E treasure hunters best friend this year.
 

Those small coils can really increase your keepers among the trash of older parks. Congratualtions!
