Hi all, I am new to this, but using my detector every day, even if I have to detect my own yard and shoulder of road along our property. I have to learn this and feel the only way is to do it. I am getting better every day I think and more confident.
Anyway, I want to do some old homesites and paths in the woods around me. I don't know about where you Guys live, but here it is almost impossible to go into these grown up areas in New Jersey. Chiggers, ticks and now with all this rain mosquitoes. I have used everything, but the chiggers love me. I am thinking I will have to wait til after a couple of good frosts to go into the woods.
I have ordered a Minelab Excaliber 2 so that I can try the beaches. I do have some old schools that I can do. I think that is one of the worst things about this. And that is finding places to hunt. Also I would love it if I had someone to hunt with. BUT, I am hooked but good.
Do you Guys have to hunt different places according to the seasons?
