On Fridays I have standing breakfast appointment with the members of my hunting lease. We are all retired cops and meet at 10:00 at the local Village Inn and discuss among other things the managing of our hunting lease, the usual game plots, etc. I usually get up and do a bit of metal detecting before the breakfast, knock off about 9:00 and rush to the cafe. This morning at 6:00 AM about daylight it was 84 degrees without a breath of breeze. I decided it was too hot to go MDing first today and by 9:30 AM it was in the mid 90s. It finally topped out at 103 degrees farenheit at three o'clock this afternoon and right now it's still 101 at 8:00 PM! High tomorrow is predicted to be between 104 and 105! The water in my pool is 94 degrees and feels like bath water. Not cooling at all it seems and with no breeze I'm just staying indoors! A good time to get on the net and do some research of some sites I have been told about. So, I'll be right here on and off all weekend. JIM

106 Today and stifling! Not a breath of air until about 5:00 PM when a little thunderstorm blew up. Cooled things off nicely but no rain on me, just all around. JIM

In the low 90s here luckily, but it does still get hot when your trecking thru the woods with all ur stuff 8)
