no one knows what that is i guess

Or no one saw it. it does happen. I am no rock expert but it looks like quartz to me. The bubbly veins I would think are a good sign for gold but no guarantee. I only say this because my Dad and Grandfather crushed these types down looking for color. Someone will chime in and confirm or correct me.
Cheers

Hi Jason. It looks to me like there are several types of rock throughout that piece which makes it more difficult for a correct I.D. I'm more into gemstones and geology and am not simply a rockhound. I hunt and like the expensive, more lucrative and more difficult to find rocks/gems Lol! Although on occasion I will bring home a large chunk of pink or purple quartz, or unusual pieces for my yard.
I will say that in the first photo that the orange color in the center appears to be agate and in the second photo there is also quartz and calcite, but there are also other types of rock in it as it is a conglomerate of rock as well. It is a nice, large and interesting specimen. If you would post this in the Rocks/Gems section of the forum you will definitely get more answers and lots of helpful information too.

found near limestone outcropping my guess? when you see wavy lines in a rock like that it usually means it was precipitate, like a stalagmite or stalactite. Calcitic probably, but that last photo looks definitely like what Sawmill Man stated flint or chert. The chunky ones you showed just look like weathered igneous lava rock (the holes in it are from gasses within the lava while it cooled, they leave pockets. If you have volcanoes in your area it makes sense, but if you don't probably was transported to your location for landscaping or another rock hound brought it home.
