Hey all,

I have a friend who is down on his luck lately and is hurting for money to make ends meet. They are down to selling things in their house to make extra cash. My wife and I have done some for them but we aren't able to raise another whole family. The guy has a small stack of paper money he got from his mom years back and it consistes of plain and red-seal $2 bills and a bunch of silver certificate $1 bills (most show signs of being creased and folded). He wanted me to take a look at them since I collect coins but I have no idea what is a good price to pay or to even suggest for him to get for each. I don't have specifics but I would say they are mostly all the latest silver certificate years with a few early years.

I would hate to see him use these to pay a bill and would like to help him out more so can I get some suggestions as to an average price per bill to offer him or suggest he seek for these.

Thanks,
GMF

Its pretty difficult to give accurate prices without the details, small details such as plate block number can make the difference between 8 and 100.
