Such a Fun Hobby

I just want to say that this is such a fun hobby.

It doesn't matter what I dig, where I dig or when I dig after a 'beep', I just find it so much fun.

I'm only 42, but I've been detecting on and off for many years and it never gets old.
Thanks to my dad for getting me an old radio shack detector when I was a kid! and for throwing pennies in the garden as I detected thinking that I really did find something!!!

I will say work does get in the way every now and then, but I have to pay the bills somehow.

Also, a site like this makes the hobby even better. I really enjoy learning from everyone else and drooling over all the finds posted. They are all great.
