Ya know, even though there are no silvers, golds, rings, etc. I still, somehow feel like this still wasn't too bad for about 4 hours. :)

The ruler I didn't dig up but I did find it, sort of, it was used as a bookmark in an old book. I thought it interesting. :)

I forget what those two squarish pieces of iron are called, but they gave a fair signal. :dontknow:

What do you think? Did I do good? Or am I just whistling dixie? ;)

Thanks for peeking!

HH!

Suspender buckles! Is that what they are! :icon_thumright:

I have fun no matter what I find and I post EVERYTHING I find on here. Nice job that's a lot of clad, any day out md'ing is a good one to me!

Suspender Buckles? I should have known that as old as I am. I've found three of those here in the last few months. I was just not entirely what they are. Oh, I really like that ruler too!

For a second I thought it said Ted Nugent..:tongue1:

:icon_thumleft:WTG on all those clads, you had a good hunt most people don't even get half as much or even a third of it,,HH:hello:

I take it you searched a sports field. I've found a few of those square things. I didn't have a clue what they were. I assumed they were some sports related item because I always found them on a sports field. The other day I asked a kid who just showed up to football practice if he knew what it was. He said yes and pointed to his shoulder and said it goes to the strap. I'm not sure what exactly the strap is but that's the answer I was given.

Nice days work! Good for 4 hours. =)

Good haul:icon_thumleft:

Like Fix said, they are shoulder pad T buckles. shoulder pad replacement buckles - Bing Images

Strap holds goes under your armpits from the back and clicks into the front of your shoulder pads holding them on to you. Some newer shoulder pads like the ones we have at st x don't use them

I didn't think about it being for a strap...but yeah, I've found two on a football field on one on a ball diamond in the same park. One of my is chrome plated.

Looks like a successful day to me.
