Sub-fossils but still cool

I just looked at beachcombers post and it reminded me of these that I found the other day. they came from a native american site. they have been buried for a very long time. where they were buried preserved them quite well. these are bison teeth. they became extinct here in florida shortly after the spanish first arrived in the 16th century. they look a lot like big deer teeth. but they are not. not fossil.. not new...Sub-fossil. still cool though.

Awww you found what I was looking for!! LOL! Very nice finds Bill. I think they are not from the same site I got the other bones from?
I thought I found some teeth but upon closer inspection at home, it was just a darn odd shaped rock.
 

good finds today.. congrats. no heatstroke ok..lol.
 

LOL! Yeah need to take a break from this sun, it just wears me down no matter how much i drink and try to keep cooll! Need to find places in the shade!
