First off, thanks for looking. Been awhile since I found some good things, and I think I did today. Can't find another example of the fob but it has all its enamel, and the soldier has seen better days but the paint is still pretty good, he obviously stepped on a land mine. Would love to know the age on that as well as the fob. An IH is always great to find(for me anyway) and the axe head is 3.5 lbs. Nearly knocked my head set off ....Thanks again for looking.

Nice finds. That axe head might clean up pretty well, if you do please post some after pics of it. The Stutz company closed shop in 1935, so your fob was likely made then at the latest. I'd guess your soldier was made in the same rough time period, say 1920's or 30's.

Hello Btoots. Nice finds...that makes two hunts in a row that you have out dug me. Congrats...guess I will have to kick it up a notch on our next dig. HH. C9

Btoots, Congrats on a great group of finds. There may be more soldiers in the area, have fun finding them. Your soldier is a Barclay #737 "Soldier Charging, Machine Gunner" which had a tin helmet held onto his head with a wire clip. Circa 1935-1942. Sub 8-)

Love the soldier!! Cool find!!

You're the man Sub, thanks for the identification. Yeah, he's pretty beat up but he is about twice the size of the only other one I've found. Unfortunately both had their legs blown off. Thanks for the great picture of a complete one also.
