An Armed Robber is Shot While Robbing Family Dollar and Now His Family is Angry
November 27, 2013
A concealed carrier in Mobile, Alabama opened fire on an armed robber who was holding employees at gun point.* But now the family of the armed robber who was shot by the good Samaritan is angry and speaking out against what the hero did to the armed criminal.* (Watch video at end of post)
When this CCW permit holder (who is remaining anonymous) saw employees being held at gunpoint by a* masked gunman in a Family Dollar, he decided to do something about it.* He saw the gunman pointing a gun at the head of an employee who was on his knees, when he pulled out his own gun to stop the crime.
“Hey, don’t move,” the unidentified customer said as he pointed his gun at the suspect, 18-year-old Adric White.* But when White swung his gun around the gun carrying customer shot him 5 times.
Despite the fact the White already has robbery charges from previous incidents, his family is now crying out for justice.
“If his life was not in danger, if no one had a gun up to him, if no one pointed a gun at him, what gives him the right to think that its OK to just shoot someone.* You should have just left the store and went wherever you had to go in your car or whatever,”* the suspect’s family member said.
He should have just left the store?** And what about the robber who was actually holding people at gunpoint?* Apparently his actions were justified by this family member and everyone should have just left him alone, right?* As you can see, it’s not gun control but self-control that is lacking in our culture.* And justifying the dirt bags that commit these crimes does nothing but make the problem worse.
Fox 10 news had already interviewed the family but afterwards they called the news station demanding that the interview not be aired.
Police are saying that the shooting was completely justified.* Now White sits in a hospital waiting to swap out a hospital bed for a jail bed.
The good Samaritan said it was the first time he had to use his firearm to shoot someone.
“It was just instinct.* It happened so quick.* I didn’t want to shoot him.* But when I saw him swing around so fast I didn’t want to get shot either,” he said.
“They tend to think that are the only ones with guns.* I have been legally carrying my firearm for a little over 4 years now, and thank God I’ve never had to use it until of course last night.* But it just goes to show that it can work.* It’s good to have concealed carry.* You never know when you are going to need it.”
Employees are saying that they are very lucky that this concealed carrier stepped in.* And while we feel no remorse for the family of the armed robber who was shot, we gladly tip our hats to yet another gun-toting hero who does not ask for lime light or praise, only the freedom to protect himself and those around him.
While the concealed carrier was in the store, his daughter and girlfriend were in the car in the parking lot.* But the gun owner said he would do it all over again if he could.
