I found this last week at an 1860s homesite in Pennsylvania and can not figure out what it is. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It may be a Penn. State token . If not may have been brought in from another country. But by for, I'm no expert like other people on the forum.Good luck finding out. Nice find.:thumb_up:

at first, you'd think advertising token for a lantern company. It took a while to figure out what was on the other side, but blowing the pic up it looks to be a man wearing possibly a three corner hat and maybe carrying something. I can't find a match anywhere on the net, but I wonder if it's possibly a souvenir from perhaps a centennial celebration of Paul Revere, his lantern, and the 'one if by land, two if by sea' signal in the Old North Church in Boston.

The lantern appears to be a turn of the 20th C driving lantern.

This one is 1921.

My eyes see a gent/chauffeur on back with scarf on?

The one side is defiantly a carriage lamp.
On the other side towards the bottom I see fine letters that look like O O M . there may be more.
maybe do a bit more cleaning in that area and some more will show up.
