So here I am in St. Petersburg for a spell and I randomly came across a metal detecting shop. I've come to learn that the hobby is very popular here. 
I've attached the business card of the shop in case anyone is looking for metal detecting equipment here. The owner was very nice and speaks a little bit of English. The shop is located right next to the largest outdoor flea market in St. Petersburg and had a variety of metal detectors (Fisher, Garrett, Minelab, etc.) and other equipment and accessories. They even sell quality ground probes (privy rods). I was very tempted to buy one.
