Hello all,

Hope you're finding all the good stuff. Got out last weekend and slogged through the mire. Some parts of the yard are still frozen down about 6" or so. I found a few interesting things, like the Tootsie Car(says Panel Truck) which I have not dated yet...it's in surprisingly good shape. Also, the toy Derringer was neat to find...also found that marble with the panel truck in the same yard, same area. To my surprise, though, I only managed to find one wheat penny(55-D) and a token, so no other notable coins...no silver, no gold. Some copper and brass bits here and there, and junk. Some of the clad in that plastic container is from last year...still dirty...I have gotten so lack luster and lazy these days.

Decided to post some old fish I caught at last weekends local Gem and Mineral show. Those weren't top shelf specimens...not on the table, but behind. The guy had more behind the table than on...some were cheaper because they had flaws...so i bought those two. The big one has a crack right through it...I shouldn't buy broken stuff but I wanted a large, old fish. The nose being slightly sawed off is ding too, but, I felt bad for him...he's been through a lot for a long time...cut him some slack. I also bought some cabs and Brazilian quartz chunks...that was about it.

Thanks for lookings.

Nice finds Jarl. The Tootsie Toy truck should be 1950's 60's era. I like the Derringer and marble also.
