I was going to post this in Today's Finds, but in trying to come up with descriptions, I realized I don't really know what this stuff is. 🤨

1945 penny is for size.

  1. Something used–or to do–with animals? Rusted solid. F
  2. I think this may have been jewelry. Soft metal, no rust, no markings or rim to hold a lens. The small bits formed links to hang by a chain, attached through the hole; it broke in my bag. 🤬 NF
  3. I'm reasonably sure this is gold-plated casting. Base metal on the reverse is entirely deteriorated, while the obverse is preserved. Animal tack or human decoration? NF
  4. Sheet metal (tin?) stamping (not cast), but what? Looks like a loop for a strap? NF

Bottom center is half of a sash buckle.

Top right bridle rosette.

Top left I believe is also horse related. I'm just not knowledgeable enough to know what it's called.

Top center, possibly one of the many rings on a horse related saddle, harness etc.

Plated piece top right may be a inlay button off of some type of chest or furniture?

Thanks

Maybe. It's a lot thinner sheet metal than the examples of sash buckles I see on google. Quite soft.
Top right bridle rosette.
Yes, that's what it looks like. I'd like to be able to ID it better for the owner, but I just spent an hour perusing google images and I'm bleary and losing focus. 🤪

It's much too soft--and the links too delicate--for horse.
