My new, 9 whole days, kitten. Its name is Mad Kitty. It still won't let me touch him/her.

The trash.

Clad eye finds.

1015171818.jpg
Dug clad.

1015171820.jpg
Pieces and parts of toy cars.

The keepers. The Beanie Baby was a surface find. Obviously he needs a trip through a washer and dryer.

Close-up of my third ring found with my Ace 350. I thought it was silver and couldn't wipe off the inside fast enough. Alas its plated.

Last find today. Some sort of school award. Here's the other side.

I got to dig up a picture of "speedy" our halloween classic black cat. She sleeps all day and then its stealthy night stalker !! Nice ring and school award ?? Whats that all about it looks old !!

Nice array of finds, congrats!
Hopefully kitty gets used to you. I have a family of feral cats that live in my neighbors shed (I think) that I feed. They also won't let me get with in 20 feet.
Can slaw always gets me, detector reads I as "good" stuff.
As for the ring good job! I love finding rings, if you want to call it silver...I'll back ya!

Your "Some sort of School award" is actually part of a Bronze Star medal. That is a very prestigious award......at least it was when that one was most likely earned. Not like today when it is more of a "participation badge". I would cherish that find.

Nice recoveries.

Kitty will come around eventually, lots of treats and attention. Talking to them helps too.

Awesome Bronze Star medal! Congrats. Sub 8-)

I thought that star looked special. Man if you could return that....wow !! Very cool !!

Nice finds. "Mad Kitty" is trying to butter you up.

Look down, look down
You'll always be a slave
Look down, look down
You're standing in your grave.

I hope your Mad kitty will soon realize you are feeding and caring for it and you soon can change its name to Gentle kitty. Nice finds you made too!

Did I mention Mad Kitty is buttering you up for dinner? Nice looking cat btw. She'll come around.

Holy Toledo! I thought the wording on the back was strange for a school award. But I found it at an old (1923-2009) K-8 school. So I ASSumed it was an old school award.

That makes this my all time best find. I've got it soaking in distilled water now. The medal has something below the ribbon holder. So hopefully it might give me more information.

THANK YOU TREASURENET MEMBERS FOR ID'ING MY FIND.

The star is cool! Congrats.
The kitten is still chilly ....
Guess the bath will have to wait.

Neighbor calls her cats each evening to put them in the garage. Not sure who is more crazy ,the cats for falling for it...or her for calling them till at least one shows up ,or me for noticing...

Awesome bronze star find!!!!!! A great save!!!!!

Congrats on getting out and swinging the coil, you certainly dug your share of targets and surface finds. I really like that star, seems like you pulled a great one.
